Restylane® is formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA) which acts like the body’s own HA and treats areas of the lower face including lines from the nose to the mouth, and the mouth to the chin. It’s unique XpresHAn Technology increases the gel’s flexibility and allows for natural facial movement.

How Does Restylane Work?

Restylane treatments involve a series of hyaluronic acid (HA) injections that add volume under the skin where clients have lost fat and collagen. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body that is broken down by the body over time. This nonsurgical procedure requires minimal downtime.

Are There Any Adverse Effects?

Common side effects include swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, and itching at the injection site. Side effects decrease overtime and resolve in most clients in 2 weeks.

Do RestylaneTreatments Hurt?

Restylane products are paired with lidocaine, meaning clients experience less pain with each injection. A topical anesthetic may be used in addition to the lidocaine to further reduce discomfort.

Should I Consider An Alternative to Restylane?

During your consultation, we will determine which Restylane fillers are the right match for your desired results. Other injectables may be recommended to complement Restylane.
