Rebecca de la Torre, M.D.
Dr. Rebecca de la Torre is a board-certified physician in family medicine, but started perfecting her skills in aesthetics and laser medicine in 2002 and has dedicated her practice to this area of medicine since 2004. She opened Allura Skin and Laser Clinic in Fort Collins in 2008, and the following year opened a second location in Johnstown inside the 25/34 Development. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and has advanced aesthetic training in lasers, injectables and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement.
Dr. de la Torre's passion for the aesthetics and laser field is evident by her involvement in aesthetic training for physicians, nurses, aestheticians and other laser specialists. She is the medical director and clinical instructor at the College of International Esthetics in Arvada, CO, and she is a Syneron laser luminary and speaker on behalf of the laser company.
Dr. de la Torre's interests also include wellness. In 2008, Dr. de la Torre added the successful hCG weight loss program to her practice, and in 2010, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy using the SottoPelle pellet hormone therapy. Her goal was to combine inner health with outer beauty.
Dr. de la Torre is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Colorado Academy of Family Practice, Colorado Medical Society and the Larimer County Medical Society. During her years of family practice in Loveland, Dr. de la Torre was named Group Publishing's Best Doctor of Northern Colorado for six consecutive years. In 2009 and 2010, Dr. de la Torre was a nominee in the business category for the Northern Colorado Women of Distinction.
Yvonne Hampson, R.N.
Yvonne Hampson became a registered nurse in England in 1979. She became a nurse midwife soon after, practicing in England and Saudi Arabia for eight years before she came to the United States. Yvonne has been a Certified Laser Technician (CLT) since 2004 and has expertise in FotoFacial®, Fraxel®, Thermage® and DOT Therapy. Yvonne has completed advanced training in Botox® and dermal fillers, and is certified in Laser Vein and Sclerotherapy. Yvonne is Allura's permanent makeup practitioner and has undergone advanced training in nipple tattooing for scar camouflage and breast reconstruction. Yvonne's passion is helping teens with acne and skin problems, and anti-aging. Yvonne is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and the American Academy of Micropigmentation.
Mina Muirhead, R.N.
Mina has trained extensively in advanced techniques with injectables and state-of-the-art lasers to provide her clients with a more youthful, natural -looking appearance. Beyond her high proficiency, Mina brings her gifts of warmth, compassion and respect to each person she comes in contact with. Mina graduated with honors with her BSN from the University of Northern Colorado in 1997. She is a certified laser technician for DOT Therapy (CO2 fractional resurfacing laser), Fraxel®, Thermage®, Nd:Yag, and FotoFacial® and Trinity™ from Syneron. Mina also enjoys the instant gratification her clients obtain from Botox®, Dysport® and dermal fillers. She is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Bobbie Marriott, Medical Aesthetician, CLT
Bobbie's passion is product knowledge, as she feels our skin is a window to our health. Before becoming part of the Allura team, Bobbie owned and operated A Day Away Skin Care Spa in Johnstown. She is certified in hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasions, lasers and safety, and Electrology. Bobbie offers a wide range of spa services, including customized facials, aromatherapy and reflexology, lymph drainage of the face and body, chemical peels, microdermabrasions, and hair removal via laser, waxing and electrolysis. Bobbie also offers advanced makeup application. The most enjoyable part of her job is working with clients of all ages. She dedicates herself to always doing what's best for each client for a significant, positive change in their skin.
Shayna Leone, Medical Aesthetician, CLT
Shayna has more than 12 years of experience in medical aesthetics. Before joining the Allura team, Shayna worked for 10 years in a dermatologist's office where she established and supervised a medical day spa. Shayna brings in-depth product and treatment knowledge to Allura, specializing in preforming aggressive procedures to treat more severe skin conditions. She offers a full range of services, including custom facials, medical-grade peels and laser treatments, applying her medical knowledge to successfully treat all skin types and conditions from teenage acne to mature skin. Outside of Allura, Shayna enjoys running, yoga and staying fit to keep up with her active family.
Stefanie Hussain, Medical Aesthetician, CLT
Stefanie loves her work at Allura, where her specialties are exfoliation, advanced techniques in chemical and microderm exfoliation, relaxing facials using the Hungarian massage technique and neck stretching, and Collagen Induction Therapy. After graduating from Hair Dynamics in January 2009, Stefanie has completed more than 100 hours of training in chemical peeling. Her passion is corrective skin care and she loves to educate her clients on proper skin care products and regimen. Raised in Fort Collins, she is married and a mother of two, and has a zest for the active lifestyle and physical fitness.
Jahna Brazier, CMT
Jahna's interest in massage therapy training came after she received long-term relief from chronic migraine headaches from massage therapy treatment. She attended the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins and received her certification in January 2004. Jahna has a vast background of experience, having worked with professional sports teams and a local clinic where she specialized in auto-related injuries, postural issues, prenatal care, and sports-related injuries. Her true passion, however, is helping those with chronic pain through body work and educating them about their bodies. Jahna is also trained in cellulite and body contouring, and has studied to be a laser technician with Syneron, the manufacturer of the state-of-the-art Vela Shape body contouring laser.
Jenn Rothfuss, MA and hCG Consultant
Before coming to Allura, Jen was a medical assistant for nearly 13 years in a family practice environment. She enjoys working with her clients and encouraging them to lead a healthy lifestyle through exercise and diet to prevent disease rather than just treat it. Jen is married and has two active boys, and she loves biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
Rachel Piccoli, CMA
Rachel, a Colorado-native, began her career working in Cosmetology. She then took on a new challenge to become a certified medical assistant, where she obtained the highest honors upon graduation. She feels so blessed to be working with Dr. de la Torre and the team at Allura as a CMA and hCG consultant. She enjoys all areas of client care whether she's assisting Dr. de la Torre, answering questions, or simply listening to clients concerns. Rachel and her husband are very active and enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, riding horses or being on their dirt bikes.
Kris Ball, RD
Kris believes that healthy eating should be a part of everyone's lifestyle. She enjoys helping her clients attain their health goals by guiding them through personal nutrition and healthy meal planning for their entire family, while helping them stay motivated with her positive energy. With a degree in human nutrition and dietetics from Colorado State University, she has been a practicing dietician since 2000 and is a former personal trainer. She has the experience and expertise to help clients with weight loss and gain issues, eating disorders, and meal planning for those with high cholesterol, diabetes, pre- and postnatal considerations, and other health concerns. In her spare time, Kris enjoys lifting weights, snowmobiling, participating in challenging cardio activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
Virginia Demrow, Administrative Supervisor
Virginia has worked with Dr. de la Torre since 2004, and has been the front desk manager since Allura opened in November of 2008. Her experience in office, clerical support, and management positions has come from a variety of industries, including a skin care provider, an electrical contractor, a marketing firm, and a jewelry store. However, she feels that she has never had a job as personally satisfying and rewarding as the one she has at Allura.
Jackson Self, Manager
Jack is the manager at Allura and is responsible for all aspects of the clinic's business side. In 2006, he retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after 22 years and spent three years in commercial construction before coming to Allura. Jack has a master's degree from the Naval War College in Newport, RI and an MBA from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He enjoys solving the daily issues that arise from managing a fast-paced, rapidly growing business like Allura, where each day provides its own unique challenges and rewards.
